Title of the Innovation: Herbal Mosquito Repellent Spray
Brief About Innovation
Mosquito is major problems in tropical and subtropical countries like India. The insect is known to transmit deadly pathogen of the diseases i.e. zika, JEE, malaria, dengue and many more. Synthetic insecticides like DDT have been using extensively to control the mosquito population since 1940 with little or no success. In return, insecticides have contaminated the ecosystems by their residues and become one of the major threat factors for biodiversity. Also, insecticides resistant strains of mosquitoes have been developed in many parts of the world.
In this context, one of the eminent public lab has developed Herbal Mosquito Repellent Spray. The spray is convenient to use inside the room as well as in outside environment for repelling mosquitoes. Along with mosquito repellent properties, the spray may also be used as room freshner.
