India has an  extensive network of about 2500 R&D institutions, mostly Government supported. These institutions cover virtually every branch and facet of  research  and technology ranging from paleo-botany to spacecraft.

The institutions in this network are the primary sources of NRDC's portfolio of marketable technologies.

In pursuance of its corporate goals, NRDC has forged links with, and between the scientific and industrial communities in India and abroad.
