Budget allocation for Promotional Programmes

DSIR has been supporting the Corporation in the form of grants-in-aid to run the following two promotional programmes to promote, develop and commercialize indigenous technologies:-

  •    Prize Award for Meritorious Inventions
  •    Publications Awishkar (12 issues in a year) 
  •       Patents Assistance to educational institutes, universities, individual
       inventors etc.
  •    Techno Commercial Support including Incentive to the scientists
  •    Patents Seminars
  •    Online Patent Search
  •    Angel Funding for promoting development of new generation products
  

 
II.      Technology Promotion Programme (TPP)                                                                         Rs. 4.50 crores 

 

  •     Promotion of Rural and Household Technologies
  •       Informatics for Technology Transfer
  •    Export of Technology
  •    Technology Development Program for Priority Projects
