SILVER TIN-OXIDE / TUNGSTEN OXIDE ELECTRICAL CONTACTS

	A novel chemical method for manufacturing of contact tip powder. The Tungsten oxide is used as dopent ( ternary compound). The method of manufacturing the powder is different than that of the commonly used method of manufacturing of Contact tip. The addition of ternary compound by chemical route is tried for the first time. The physical properties of using this contact tips by using this powder are good ( 9.97gm /cm3 of density, 90 HV of hardness, 74% IACS% of conductivity). This method is economical since silver nitrate is one of the major constituents as compared to pure silver powder.
