RTV SILICONE COMPOUND

It is room temperature vulcanized silicon coating developed in India by ERDA. It is very hydrophobic coating having very wide applications Viz.,  on outdoor insulator, conformal coating etc. The coating can be applied by brush or by spraying which gets cured at ambient temperature in less than 12 hours. It has a Viscosity of 4200centipose, Dielectric constant @ 1000 Hz is 6.0, Tensile strength is 10 Kg/cm2, elongation at break is 245%.
