Psoriasis is one of the most common non- infectious skin disorders  and over 2% of the world’s population suffer from this unpredictably obscure and obstinate skin disease. It involves scaling of the dermatosis of the skin and frequently affects elbows, knees, lumbosacral and scalp coupled with the associated complications like erythroderma, exfoliative dermatitis and arthritis that may be deforming and ankylotic, Psoriasis could be an extremely depressing phenomenon among people suffering from it due to its ugly appearance of the skin. Men, women and children across various cross sections of the society have been affected and till date have at best received only temporary relief from modern medicines which have adverse side effects including damage of liver, eyes and bones, joint pains, skin rashes, hair loss, high blood pressure and even birth defects and thus preclude use for longer term. Therefore, Psoriasis was often called to be curse for lifetime.

The coded drug ‘777 oil’ - is a herbal preparation developed by siddha system of medicine and found to be a break-through for the safe and effective treatment for control and management of all types of psoriasis. The drug is non- steroid, simple herbal formulation prepared from a commonly available herb and have already caught the attention of some of the leading dermatologists in India and abroad who have seen remarkable improvements in their patients.

In addition to giving remedy to the Psoriasis patients, the drug is also found to be very effective in the treatment of dandruff. PROCESS

The economics of production of the drug depend on the cultivation and collection of the leaves of the herb and then processing of the leaves. The processing of the herb is done as follows:

The fresh and authentic leaves of the particular herb were collected from the medicinal plant garden. These are then mixed with commonly available vegetable oil and extracted under sun.  The oil after extraction is separated and concentrated under sun.  The oil is then packed in bottles.  The whole operation is done in a moisture free atmosphere.
