With the rise of labour cost, consciousness of time for completing a building project and the complexity of new construction techniques, it has become necessary to use some mechanical means to boost material handling operations. Use of sophisticated cranes could be an answer but in view of the fact that the residential and other buildings are constructed with traditional techniques at many of the construction sites. Therefore a light duty range (50 to 500 kg) material handling device has been sought for quite some time by in the developing countries. Mini climbing crane is such a device and is accepted readily by the contractors / builders. It is compact and can lift loads upto 500 kg to a height of about twenty five meters.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Special features of Mini Climbing Crane are:

  • Lifting capacity 1000 kg at 1 Mt. radius i.e., 250 kg at 4 Mt. radius and 500 kg at 2 Mt. radius.
  • The hoisting speed is 10 meter per minute and 20 meter per minute.
  • Power requirement is 3.5 kw
  • Suitable for 8 storey construction.
  • Needs no anchorage with surrounding structure.
  • Can be split into a number of sub-assembly for ease in shifting from one floor/site to another.
  • Easy assembly of crane with a lifting pole with pivoted bottom.
  • Self weight of crane is 650 kg.
