EFFLUENT BY CHEMICAL AND MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY
|
The present distillery
and other industries like the Tanneries, Pigment & Dye industries are facing
the problem of treating their effluents to remove the colour in addition to
TDS, COD, BOD. The present methods being used like extended aeration,
concentration by evaporation etc require vast areas & high power. The
patented technology developed at Malladi Project Management and Research
Centre Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India, pertains to the treatment of effluent to
produce permeate water, where the colour of the effluent having a
psychological impact on the public is removed. This can be used as process water,
thus creating a Zero pollution atmosphere & is Eco-friendly. The
quality obtained also conforms to the standards of the Pollution Control
