CASTOR OIL BASED  CAPACITOR IMPREGNANT

A new  material is synthesized which is a natural and economical raw material for impregnation of Dry type LT capacitor. It is poured inside the capacitor to fill the air gap, provide mechanical support and electrical insulation. Its thermal conductivity is 0.25 W/m.K, curing time is 24 hours, elongation is 60%, Tensile strength is 5 Kg/ cm2.
