PROCESS

Treated silica, Precipitated Silica is ignited at elevated temp in a continuous rotory furnace.

The ignited silica is then jet milled to get in the fine size – free flowing powder material form.

This powdered silica is finally reacted with optimised quantity of silanes in a Nauta mixer at optimised temp and time to get the finished product. After completion of batch – reaction, finished product is packed in 10 kgs. Paper bag.

ADVANTAGES OVER EXISTING PROCESS

  • Production of treated fumed silica is very costly in comparision to this grade – hence this serves as a cheaper replacement in some of the applications.
  • Simple processing techqnique.
