PROCESS

High surface area silica powder is taken into Rotocone Vacuum Drier.

To this, optimum quantity of wax dissolved in a requisite quantity of Benzene (solvent) is added and mixed for 15 mins.

After mixing, entire mixture is heated in rotocone vacuum drier at around 90oC and benzene vapour librated is condensed in a condenser (water cooler) for reuse in the second batch.

Dried wax coated silica is then pulverized and then jet milled to get the desired size finished product – which is finally packed in 10 kgs. Paper bag.
