PROCESS

High surface area silica powder is taken into Rotocone Vacuum Drier.

To this, optimum quantity of wax dissolved in a requisite quantity of Benzene (solvent) is added and mixed for 15 mins.

After mixing, entire mixture is heated in rotocone vacuum drier at around 90^oC and benzene vapour librated is condensed in a condenser (water cooler) for reuse in the second batch.

Dried wax coated silica is then pulverized and then jet milled to get the desired size finished product – which is finally packed in 10 kgs. Paper bag.
