The study would helps stakeholders to take important decisions and strategies involving the R&D of a product processes, investing into certain areas of technology and identifying patent trends.

Techno Market Survey

These surveys help assess the size of markets, determine the specifications of the final product required by the market and fix the sale price of the product that the market can bear. The surveys also identify, evaluate and select credible and competent licensees and provide data for determining realistic licensing fees.

The professional market surveys help NRDC in generating feasibility/project reports. NRDC prepares such reports as a part of its technology transfer activities.

Technology Consultancy

NRDC  has accumulated experience in matching its portfolio of source points of technology to their potential markets in about 4600 cases, both in India and abroad.

Countries from South often  find Indian technologies compatible to their needs. Their simplicity, smaller plant sizes, lower investment levels, ability to utilize local resources and employment generation capacity, make them "appropriate technology".

As a result of NRDC's assistance to its licensees in identifying potential clients, providing marketing support and obtaining product certificates from authorities in different countries, where these are required, the NRDC  licensees have been able to export their products to both the developing and developed countries.

NRDC  banks not only on the technologies available from its own reservoir but also draws on operating technologies from both private and public sector industry in India and in the  countries of interest.

NRDC  has set up plants based on Indian technologies for manufacture of chlorine tablets, water filter candles, menthol from mint  oil in Indonesia, synthetic and natural dyes plant in Vietnam, rice  husk particle   board plant in Malaysia, 18 projects in Myanmar and Rural Technology Centres in Senegal.

NRDC has also provided consultancy services for setting up four Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Parks in Egypt and an industrial Park in Gabon, besides providing other products and services in Bangladesh, Philippines, Madagascar, Thailand, Nigeria, Ethiopia  and  other countries.

NRDC has a wide network of international contacts. It is registered with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Africa Development Bank and has built close working linkages with UNIDO,  Vienna, TNO, Holland, KIST,  South Korea, ANVAR,  France, Social Fund for Development, (SFD),   Egypt, etc.
